About Me

My story begins with a love of reading. For many years, reading has been my perfect escape from reality. I get to explore fantastical places, be someone else for a few hours, and believe in all the magic. For nearly as long, I have been writing stories and creating worlds of my own. Until recently, my dream of being an author was on the back burner because I felt like I didn’t have the time to pursue it. After quitting my job as a mechanical engineer, I am proud to be writing my novels full-time with visible progress!
I currently live with my loving husband in Anchorage, Alaska where we enjoy calendar-worthy views of the mountains right from our living room. Outside of being a writer, I am a hiker, a mountain biker, a skier, a triathlete, a dancer, a fisher, a foodie and amateur chef, and a compulsive book-buyer (which I think is an unwritten requirement of being an author). When I’m not reading a good book or relentlessly tapping away at my keyboard, you can often find me out adventuring in the miles of wilderness accessible right outside my back door.
